River Bluff's girls soccer team defeated Rock Hill 10-0 in the first round of the SCHSL 5A Division I playoffs.
Six different players scored for the Gators. Noemi Williams led the way with four goals. Mallory Marchant scored twice. Masyn McClanahan, Brooke Ogorek, Eden Allen and Anna Allen scored one.
Three different players had multiple assists. Anna Allen had three to pair with her lone goal. Ogorek had two, and Brooke Walter had two.
River Bluff has now advanced to the second round in each of the past five postseasons.
The Gators will not have to travel far for the next round as the team is slated to play against a familiar opponent. River Bluff will travel to Lexington for the third meeting between the two this season
Lexington won both of the previous matchups by shutout, 1-0 and 2-0.
The pair of Lexington County rivals will kick off this Friday at 7 p.m. at the Wildcats' stadium.
