Off The Dock Block Party
Head over to Clark St. in Chapin for the Off The Dock Block Party event. 3rd Annual Dam Boat Run
Scenic Lake Murray is the backdrop for the 3rd Annual Dam Boat Run. Discover the fun world of powerboating when enthusiasts from across the country come together for two days of a thundering show of power and performance. And it’s all in an effort to raise awareness and support for Big Red Barn Retreat and the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. The Dam Run is a two-day event. Adam Chaffins (concert)
Steel Hands Brewing (2350 Foreman St.) continues their “Nashville Nights” summer concert series with a performance by rising country singer/songwriter Adam Chaffins. Host Michael Haney kicks things off at 6 p.m. and Kennedy begins his full band set at 7 p.m. This show is presented by Jim Hudson Audi and is free to attend. David Glymph (concert)

Car Show

Steel Hands Brewing (2350 Foreman St.) hosts a classic car show. All makes and models are welcome, from muscle cars to hot rods to American classics. There is no trailer parking allowed for this event, and it will be first-come, first-served in Steel Hands’ main parking lot. Cash prizes go to the 20 hottest and most popular cars, food is on the grill and Clay Johnson plays live. This event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free to attend. Colonial Forts Tour   
12,000 Year History Park (1120 Ft. Congaree Tr.) invites you to their Colonial Forts walking tour. Walk to the site of Fort Congaree and hear its stories as a trained guide delves into the struggles of the Deerskin Economy. Then travel forward in time to Fort Congaree and Fort Granby. Lego Club

Ascension Lutheran Church (827 Wildwood Ave.) invites you to a special event on Friday, June 20. The “Forever Lifted, Forever Free” Juneteenth Concert features performances from the Columbia Operatic Laboratory that focus on the works of Black composers. Vocalists Ramelle Brooks, LaDejia T. Douglas, Christopher-Lopez Moore and Diamond Tyler perform starting at 7 p.m. and the event runs until 8:30 p.m. The performance is free to attend, but donations are welcome. The Senate (1022 Senate St.) welcomes popular rapper Project Pat on Friday, June 20. Bring the family to Ridge Spring Town Plaza on W. Main St. on Sunday, June 22, for the Ridge Spring Farmer’s Market.
