Tokyo Joe 5th Annual Fundraiser (benefit concert)
Popular local rockers Tokyo Joe return to the Icehouse Amphitheater (107 W. Main St.) for the fifth annual edition of their fundraising concert for breast cancer research. Enjoy a fun evening of music for a good cause, featuring sets from Tokyo Joe, The Root Doctors and Prettier Than Matt. Showtime is 7 p.m. and tickets cost $35. Motown Night: Jackie’s Boy (concert)
The Prisma Health Amphitheater at Moore Park (7473 Church St.) and Irmo Town Limits present a concert that takes you back to the glory days of soul music. The R&B group Jackie’s Boy performs an all-Motown revue, recreating the hits of Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops, The Temptations and many more. Food is available from Kusina Filipina and Tasty Treats to Go, parking is free and children 12 and under get in free. All other tickets are $15. Hall of Horrors Haunted Attraction
Head over to 1153 Walter Price Rd., if you dare, for the Hall of Horrors Haunted Attraction. The chills will run down your spine as you enter the scary world of Agnes Blackwell, a beloved local healer turned condemned witch. Blackwell is buried beneath an ancient oak in a nearby cemetery, but you might encounter her vengeful spirit haunting the grounds tonight, leaving fear in her wake. Deceased Farm Haunted Attraction
Get your Halloween thrills early at Deceased Farm (382 Olde Farm Rd.). Go on a self-guided “haunt” through six different scary buildings, three outdoor zones and the Creepy Cornfields, all full of terrifying creatures seeking to harvest YOU. This attraction is not recommended for children under 12. Admission costs between $25 and $70. Paul Dozier (concert)
Chayz Lounge (607 Meeting St.) and guitarist Paul Dozier present “A Night of Soul Jazz.” Dozier will put some six-string sting on hits and classics by George Benson, The Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Sade, Norman Brown, Kem, Will Downing and more. Guided Paddles
Saluda Shoals Park (5605 Bush River Rd.) invites you to enjoy a leisurely morning on Lake Murray with a guided paddle tour. Take in the natural beauty and history of the Lower Saluda River with an experienced guide, including stops at one of two island destinations to ride the rapids, swim, observe local wildlife and learn about the Lake Murray Dam. Halloween at Hogwarts’s (concert)
The Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College (7300 College Blvd.) and the S.C. Philharmonic Orchestra invite you to celebrate “Halloween at Hogwarts.” The S.C. Phil, led by conductor Morihiko Nakahara, presents a program that pairs familiar classical favorites with iconic works by John Williams and scores from the Harry Potter films, plus other spooky surprises. 2025 Corn Maze
Bring the kids to Clinton Sease Farm (382 Olde Farm Rd.) for a trip through the Corn Maze and other adventures. LPD Foundation Fall Festival
The Lexington Police Department invites you to the Icehouse Amphitheater (107 W. Main St.) for the annual LPD Foundation Fall Festival. Bring the kids for this family-friendly event with games, rides, prizes, food and drink, a costume contest and more. This event is a fundraiser for the LPD Foundation, a program that supports community resources and funds pilot programs for the police department. Boo at the Zoo
Riverbanks Zoo & Garden (500 Wildlife Pkwy.) welcomes you and the family back to Boo at the Zoo. Bring your costumed kids to Riverbanks’ annual family-friendly Halloween celebration for fun for all ages. This year, the zoo is offering Haunted Hideaway Igloos, a special offer that includes six tickets to Boo at the Zoo, exclusive access to the igloo for the entire evening, hot cider, spooky games and a special Halloween-themed menu. The Odd Couple (play)

The S.C. State Museum (310 Gervais St.) invites you to their Dark History tour on Friday, Oct. 24. On this creepy crawl through the museum, you’ll learn the true story of Columbia’s catacombs, mysterious tunnels that hid everything from politicians to Confederate gold. Hear Gullah folktales that will give you chills and learn about the path General Sherman took during his march through Columbia. The Prisma Health Arena (10433 Wilson Blvd.) invites you to The Blythewood Fall Championship Rodeo on Friday, Oct. 24. Head over to the Elmwood Park Neighborhood on Saturday, Oct. 25, for the scariest thing of all: exercise. It’s The Nightmare on Park St. 5k, hosted by GRIT Endurance. Enjoy a USA Track & Field course winding through Elmwood Park, decorated with plenty of spooky flair. There’s also a Kids Fun Run for younger runners. The 5k kicks off at Palmetto Life Church (2204 Park St.) at 10 a.m., and the Kids’ Fun Run begins at 11 a.m. Registration costs between $20 and $40, and proceeds go to the Historic Elmwood Park Neighborhood Association. Dreher Island State Park (3677 State Park Rd.) invites you to their Boo Bash celebration on Saturday, Oct. 25. The Newberry Opera House (1201 McKibben St.) hosts a unique ensemble on Sunday, Oct. 26. The Italian Saxophone Quartet is celebrated worldwide for its rich, unified sound and passionate performances. The group’s shows bridge the worlds of classical and contemporary music and include everything from timeless masterpieces to modern works by Arvo Pärt, Philip Glass and Luciano Berio.
