The Zonta Club of Columbia is offering a new scholarship known as Young Women in Leadership (YML).

This opportunity highlights women ages 16-19 who have demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to public service.

Candidates must be actively committed to volunteerism, have experience in local government, student government or workplace leadership, demonstrate volunteer leadership achievements and understand Zonta International and its programs.

The deadline is March 17. Interviews will take place via telephone or Zoom. The decision will be announced on April 1.

The winning applicant will be forwarded to the district level to compete for $5,000.
