Tyler Bass knows who to credit for helping him become a successful place kicker.
It’s none other than his ‘meemaw’ better known as his grandmother Rebecca Lusk.
"Seeing her battle through that cancer and those obstacles really gave me strength,” Bass said in an interview. “She still pushes me. Seeing her in stands at my games really drives me to be successful and make her proud."
“I’m a @BuffaloBills,” Bass said on Twitter. “Ready to get to work!"
In 2018, Bass was a 1st-team All-Conference selection when he converted 19-21 field goals and went a perfect 45-45 on extra points. As a senior, he set a school record with 20 field goals and was 36 of 36 on extra points.
He helped his stock during the Senior Bowl where he was 4-4 on PATs and 2 field goals, including a 56-yarder.
