JC’s Outdoors in Gilbert hosted the Derrick Team’s sixth annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 24.
Hope Derrick from the Derrick Team of Keller Williams Realty organized the event with her husband, Mike Derrick, and their daughter, Haleigh McCartha.
“We are a real estate agency, and we love to give back to the community where we live,” Hope Derrick said.
Hundreds of parents and their children attended this free event. Children wore Halloween costumes, and each of the vendors gave out candy and toys.
Children could try their skills tossing balls to knock down candy corn cones. Children especially enjoy playing the tic-tac-toe pumpkin to win a prize.
Other games and activities included the Lava Jump, tossing beach balls into a hoop, sitting in the Hollow Creek Fire Station 2 fire truck and playing in the bounce house.
Candy bags were provided to children who didn’t bring their own, and kids loaded their trick-or-treat bags with candy and toys.
There were several food vendors, ice cream trucks and, of course, coffee and baked goods. The newly opened Lake House Market boutique at JC’s Outdoors had many fall and Christmas items for sale.
JC’s Outdoors is located at 126 Shore Road, Gilbert.
