DHEC Sunday announced 3 South Carolinians died of covid-19 Saturday.
None of them were in Lexington and Richland counties.
DHEC also announced:
- 1,019 new confirmed cases and 28 new probable cases.
Lexington County had 57 new cases. Richland County had 404.
- 11 additional confirmed deaths and zero new probable deaths.
8 of the deaths occurred as early as July 14.
Total confirmed cases to date are 116,697, probable cases 1,627, confirmed deaths 2,574, and 135 probable deaths.

- As of Saturday, 1,006,606 tests have been conducted in the state.
4,730 individual test results were reported Saturday statewide.
- Of those, 21.5% tested positive as infected.
That means 78.5% tested negative as uninfected.
