66 new county cases, 75 in Richland County

16 more confirmed SC deaths, and 3 probable deaths were reported Wednesday.

None were in Lexington County.

1 elderly Richland County patient passed away Nov. 2.

The Department of Health and Environmental Control Wednesday announced:

- 647 new confirmed cases and 68 new probable cases.

66 new cases werre in Lexington County, 75 in Columbia and Richland County.

- Confirmed cases to date are 171,642, probable cases 9,228, confirmed deaths 3,728, and 257 probable deaths.

- As of Tuesday, 2,067,352 tests have been conducted in the state. \

- 4,459 individual test results were reported to DHEC yesterday statewide.

- Of those, the percent tested positive as infected was 14.5%.

That means 85.5% tested negative as virus free.
