Brookland developer Estates and Companies is scheduled to break ground in October on 4West. It’s 52 new residences and approximately 15,000 square feet of commercial space.

Brookland is a mixed-use community located at State and Meeting streets in West Columbia.

The anticipated completion date for 4West is October 2022.
West Columbia Mayor Tem Miles states, “In 2004, the city began purchasing the property that makes up the four-acre site that now houses The Brookland development. The property was bought in order to provide a transformative project for West Columbia. That is exactly what Estates and Company have delivered. When the new 4West building is completed at Brookland, a plan for revitalization that was put in place almost 20 years earlier will be complete. I am thankful for all that the Brookland development has brought to our city so far and so excited to see its completion with the beautiful 4 West building.”

The new project is being designed the architecture firm Steinberg Dickey Collaborative. It will be a curved building with floor-to-ceiling windows.

The development’s residential community will feature studio, 1 and 2-bedroom residence with spacious dress-in closets, sleek kitchens with dual-hued cabinetry, quartz countertops, best in-home technology, and spa-inspired bathrooms. With its variety of home sizes and layouts, 4West will offer expansive balconies with stunning views, outfitted for an outdoor entertaining area.
