A total of 10 Chronicle Country players were named to the SC Softball Coaches Association’s All-State teams released Tuesday.
Sarah Gordon (Lexington), Andee Dircks (Chapin) and Alexis Winters (White Knoll) were selected in Class 5A.
Gilbert’s Amaya and Leah Kearse and Taylor Dreher were selected in Class 3A. Katie Henri and Lakyn Phillips (both Pelion), Emma Buzhardt (Gray Collegiate) and Amie Johnson (Batesburg-Leesville) were named in Class 2A.
The SC Athletic Coaches Association’s North-South All-Star Game is scheduled for June 16 at USC-Aiken.
