Early voting in South Carolina starts in a little more than two weeks, and Lexington County has announced a slight change to its list of early voting sites.

“There was a scheduling conflict that now has been resolved,” Lanice Shoemaker, the county’s director of registration and elections, said in announcing the change.
The updated list of early voting sites in the county is:
The sites will still be open Oct. 24-Nov. 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
This is the first general election in South Carolina to feature excuse-free early voting after Gov. Henry McMaster signed a bill allowing for it in May.
After featuring just one early voting site for the June primary election, Lexington County increased the number to five ahead of the upcoming election on Nov. 8.
