An NTB Tire & Service Center customer heard a noise under her car’s hood.

Not knowing what was causing it, she asked the team at NTB to check.

A peek under the hood revealed a small white kitten.

“We were happy to help,” said Eric Goins, manager of the NTB at 183 Harbison Blvd.

“I popped the hood and she was sitting on top of the engine.

"She was scared but appeared unharmed.”

The kitten is enjoying a new home with the customer.

With more than 10,300 team members, the corporation’s mission is to enable

The company’s associates have logged countless hours volunteering and supporting local efforts including Rotary Clubs bake sales, Meals on Wheels, the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, American Heart Association, Boys and Girls Clubs, United Way, Operation Gratitude, Blessings-in-a-Backpack (supplying 800 backpacks full of school supplies to needy children), Alex’s Lemonade Stand (raising $700,000 in 13 years to fight childhood cancer) and Thanksgiving-Back (project-based initiatives in Mexico).
