Make wedding cookies to show you care

Hey Lexington, get ready! I have got another fabulous recipe for you.
This recipe also came from one of the attendees at my wedding shower in Glennville, GA (the largest producer of the Vidalia onion in the world. That inscription is on the water tower in my petite town in Georgia). Growing up in a super small town, one knows everyone’s business. Who’s getting married, who’s getting divorced, who’s happy, who’s sad. The whole town is abuzz—all 1,500 people. But everyone cares deeply about each other.
This recipe is one of my favorites. May you enjoy making it, and eating it.

WEDDING COOKIES
Makes 100
Preheat oven to 300º
1 cup butter
5 Tbsp. sugar
2 cups self-rising flour
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups pecans
10X Confectioners Sugar
Mix butter and sugar. Add other indredients. Roll in balls and on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes. Cool and roll in powdered sugar.
