Why we should laugh more

What is your first thought when you think of April Fool’s Day?
My first thought is of playing jokes on my beloved family and friends.
Do you know what April Fool’s Day and laughter have in common? They are healthy! Yes, laughter can help because it:
• Lowers your blood pressure. People who lower their blood pressure, even those who start at normal levels, will reduce their risk of stroke and heart attack.
• Reduces stress hormone levels.
• Works your abs.
• Improves heart health.
• Boosts T-cells. These internal chemicals are processed by your thymus gland to boost immunity
• Triggers the release of endorphins.
• Produces a general sense of well-being.
If you didn’t have a chance to take part with the pranksters, the good news is that laughter isn’t meant just for a day.
Laugh every chance you get.
Take the time to reminisce over old photos, videos, talk about good memories, joke with others on occasion, even funny subjects with a best friend.
Just remember life is too short not to laugh often.
