Does your daughter or son want to attend the University of South Carolina?

Students applying for admission to the Columbia campus will not be required to submit standardized test scores.

The university said testing interruptions caused by the pandemic made this dfifficult for students.

Those applying for the spring, summer or fall 2021 terms may provide supplemental materials.

The test-optional policy applies to students applying for general university, Honors College admission, as well as merit scholarships. 

The 1-year pilot was approved by the Faculty Senate Committee on Admissions'

Details for applicants will be posted on Aug. 1 on  USC’s admissions website.
