Lexington County crews responded to the 100 block of Sawyers Court just after 6 pm Friday in reference to a residential structure fire.
Heavy flames could be seen coming from the home’s roof upon arrival. Exterior fire attack operations were established before firefighters proceeded inside of he home to finish extinguishing the fire.
3 residents were displaced, but no injuries were reported. The home suffered a total estimated damage of $225,000 and is determined to be a total loss. The American Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.
An investigation is underway.
