Lexington 1 to offer meals for virtual students

Lexington School District 1 will offer meals for students attending school virtually.

Starting Aug. 31:

  • AA BB students will receive 3 breakfast and 3 lunch meals to take home for their virtual learning days. 

AA BB students may pick up meals at the end of their last face-to-face school day. 
AA will pick up at the end of day Tuesday. BB will pick up at the end of the day Thursday.

  • Online Learning Academy students can pick up 5 breakfast and 5 lunch meals each Friday between 11 am–1 pm at one of the district’s 5 designated drive through locations. 

Those are Carolina Springs Middle, Forts Pond Elementary, Gilbert Elementary, Oak Grove Elementary or White Knoll Elementary. 
Online Learning Academy families MUST complete this food order form by 6 pm each Tuesday of the week if they plan to pick up meals. Find the form at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd12KelNaIae9brhxAZsD-3CC2lk6Z2iPgQU9dJN8k6z7TmxQ/viewform .

The cost of the meal depends on the child’s approved meal status. To see if you qualify for free or reduced cost meals, please apply https://www.lunchapplication.com/ . 

Because of the Labor Day holiday, no meal will be provided for Monday, September 7.
