Lexington District 1 has raised its superintendent’s pay to $209,482.
“As a result of his exemplary performance,” the board will give Dr. Greg Little:
• An extended contract for 3 more years to 2024.
• A 2.5% raise the same as other district administrators.
• 2% more in annual annuity contributions.
• An annual $12,000 retention bonus from fiscal year 2020 to 2024.
All of this is conditioned on satisfactory performance.
• 6 months’ pay if the board fires him.·
Dr. Little’s compensation compares with that paid in Lexington 3 in Batesburg-Leesville to Superintendent Randall Gary. His salary is $151,694 with an 8% annuity of $12,135, a car allowance of $ 7,500 and other benefits of $6,194.
