Lexington Police Chief Terrence Green announced Friday that Desmond Quiana Hampton, 18, of Lexington, was arrested on charges including a recent armed robbery.
On Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 4, Hampton, along with an accomplice, robbed a victim at gunpoint at an apartment complex off Park Road in Lexington, according to police. 2 men robbed a victim of over $300 and then fled.
Hampton was arrested in Pelion on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
Hampton is a documented gang member and is being held without bond at the Lexington County Detention Center on the charges of Armed Robbery, Possession of Weapon During a Violent Crime, and Criminal Conspiracy.
