Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who died as a result of a single vehicle accident in the 300 block of Hermitage Road at approximately 9:30 pm on Jan. 20.
According to Fisher, Richard Tyler Hook, 25, of Lexington was pronounced dead at the scene due to his injuries. Hook’s vehicle veered off of the left side of the road, collided with a utility pole, and overturned. Hook, the only occupant of the vehicle, was wearing a seat belt.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
