New storm heads toward Lexington County

Zeta expected to bring 2"-4" of rain, possible tornadoes and flooding

Just when you thought hurricane season was over ... here comes Tropical Storm Zeta.

Zeta was expected to become a hurricane Monday.

It was aimed at the storm-weary central Gulf Coast and bringing heavy rain to the Carolinas.

Zeta was expected to swing northeast, dumping rain on Lexington County Thursday and Friday.

The storm will meet a strong cold front and move quickly toward our area.

Zeta's speed will bring with it winds of 40-60 mph, possible tornadoes and flooding with 2-4 inches of rain.

It also promises cooler, drier weather through the weekend.
