No Christmas Eve Lexington County covid deaths

County reports 3rd highest SC case rate

Lexington County and SC deaths remain fortunately low although case rates are high.

No covid deaths were reported in the county Thursday.

SC reported 11 confirmed and 4 probable deaths.

Richland County had 1 elderly patient die Dec. 21.

Lexington County had 157 cases reported, the 3rd highest in SC Thursday.

Richland County had 151 cases, the 4th highest.

Greenville County had 319 and Spartanburg County 217.

The Department of Health and Environmental Control Thursday announced the latest updates.

No Chritmas Day updates were available but will be released Dec. 26.

  • 10,218 new individual test results reported statewide (not including antibody tests)
  • 22.1% tested positive as virus infected.
