12 more confirmed SC covid deaths were reported Saturday. 

None were in Lexington or Richland counties.

Lexington County had 153 new cases reported.

Greenville has 510 new cases, Richland has 240

12 more confirmed SC covid deaths were reported Saturday. 

None were in Lexington or Richland counties.

Lexington County had 153 new cases reported.

Richland County had 240 cases, the 2nd highest in SC.

Greenville County led again with 510 cases.

Spartanburg was 3rd with 217.

SC deaths remain low although increased testing raises state case counts.

  • Confirmed and probable cases: 231,363/17,435
  • Confirmed and probable deaths: 4,344/341
  • Tests performed for South Carolinians: 3,058,674

Testing opportunities (scdhec.gov/findatest)

  • Testing opportunities available statewide: 308

Percent positive (scdhec.gov/COVID19dashboard)

  • 13,234  new individual test results reported statewide (not including antibody tests)
  • 23% tested positive as infected.
  •  That means 77% tested negative as uninfected.
