Shame on us.
South Carolina is the 8th most sinful state in the US.
That's the finding of a WalletHub survey of such sin factors as anger, hatred, jealousy, vice, greed, lust, vanity and laziness.
Georgia out did us.
The Peach State is 4th most sinful and North Carolina is 13th.
The other most sinful states are Nevada, California, Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee, Illinois, Mississippi, New Jersey and Alabama.
Red states and blue states may blame each another for what's wrong with the US but each state has its own virtues and vices.
For example, Missouri has the worst drug use and Nevada is most gambling-addicted.
Many people want to quit their vices but it’s difficult with the stresses of the pandemic.
The cost of sin is something we share as a nation.
Gambling costs about $5 billion a year.
That’s nothing compared to the amount of money we lose from smoking – over $300 billion a year.
