Due to the pending arrival and impact Hurricane Michael will have on South Carolina and the Midlands Region, the Town of Lexington has rescheduled the following event:
Show has been moved from Thursday, October 11 to Thursday, October 18
Lexington Live – The Root Doctors
Icehouse Amphitheater
6:30pm – 9:30pm
At this time, Solid Waste and Recycling collection WILL remain on normal schedule.
The Town of Lexington would like to remind citizens that even though we are inland, the Midlands Region is projected to see high winds and rain over from Hurricane Michael. We ask everyone to take precaution, and prepare your homes by securing loose objects, roll carts and recycling bins and/or bringing items inside.
Additionally, owners and operators of reservoirs should check their dams and take appropriate steps to safely lower the water levels today and through the next several days in preparation for potential problems caused by heavy rainfall from Hurricane Michael.
