In partnership with the West Columbia Police Department, the City of West Columbia, the West Columbia Fire Department, and 12 Springs Community Church, Brookland United Methodist Church is hosting a Back-2-School Giveaway on Aug. 22 from 2 to 6 pm.
Donations of NEW school supplies are needed in the form of bookbags, notebook paper, pencils, crayons, glue sticks, composition notebooks, and tissues. Monetary donations will also be accepted to purchase supplies. All donations must be made by Aug. 21.

School Supply Giveaway
The event will be held in the parking lot of Brookland United Methodist Church, at 541 Meeting Street, West Columbia from 2 to 6 pm on Aug. 22. School Supplies will be handed out in the form of a drive-thru to promote social distancing. Kona Ice of Sumter/West Columbia will be providing FREE shaved ice to each family. The first 500 students will receive a bookbag and school supplies. The child must be present to receive the supplies.
