Got a power outage at your home of office?
If you are a SC Electric & Gas customer, call  1-888-333-4465.
If you are a Mid-Carolina Electric Coop member, call 1-888-813-7000 or 803-749-6444.
Both utility companies have thousands of employees, contractors and out-of-state workers restoring power affected by strong winds and rain from Hurricane Florence.
When severe weather hits, the 2 utilities:
•    Assess and repair damage to transmission towers, power lines and substations.

•    Clear obstructions and repair primary distribution poles and power lines.

•    Inspect and repair secondary service drops in residential neighborhoods.

Customers can report outages on SCE&G’s mobile-friendly website or register their mobile device to report or check the status of an outage at www.sceg.com/storm.
To report a downed power line, call 888-333-4465 to SCE&G or 1-888-813-7000 to Mid-Carolina
