Many local retailers and restaurants are offering Veterans Day discounts for active-duty and/or former military members. 
Please note this is not a complete list. It's a good idea to call ahead to make sure the location you plan to visit is participating.

Riverbanks Zoo
All military veterans (persons who have served or are serving in the United States Armed Forces) will receive free admission to the Zoo and Garden in honor of Veterans Day.

Planet Fitness
Veterans and active military personnel can work out for free from November 8 through 15. In addition to full access to club services, veterans and active military personnel are invited to bring a workout buddy at no additional charge and relax after they work out with free HydroMassage and chair massages.

EdVenture
Free admission for all military and their families! Free lunch provided for all military dependents 12 and under. All guests are invited to explore the museum, participate in patriotic activities and leave their mark on the EdVenture handprint American flag to honor fallen soldiers. EdVenture and Sysco will provide free kids meals to dependents 12 and under. 9 am – 5 pm, 211 Gervais Street, Columbia

Great Clips
On Veterans Day, customers who come in for a haircut at any US Great Clips salon will receive a free haircut card to give to an active, inactive, retired, disabled and reserve members from any military branch, including the National Guard. Military members can also come in on Veterans Day for a free haircut or to pick up a free haircut card to use, with proof of service, any day before Dec. 31.

Outback Steakhouse
Enjoy a free beverage and blooming onion. Valid on Veterans Day only with a valid ID. And for the rest of the year, they’re giving 15% off to military personnel—plus their families. Come in Nov. 12 through Dec. 31 to enjoy your discount, with valid military ID.

Chili’s
Veterans and active duty military members must simply show proof of military service to take advantage a discounted offer. Dine-in only, select from a limited menu. Beverages and gratuity not included. 

Applebee’s
Free meal. There will be 7 different meal options to choose from. Military members and veterans will also receive a $5 coupon to be redeemed on additional food and beverages or for a later time.

Chipotle Mexican Grill
Buy one, get one free deal from 3 pm – close.

Texas Roadhouse
Enjoy a free lunch from their special Veterans Day menu. Includes choice of Coca-Cola product, tea or coffee. Veterans and active duty military members must simply show proof of military service to take advantage of this offer. Dine-in only.

IHOP
Veterans and Active Duty Military can enjoy 3 Buttermilk Pancakes with glazed strawberries, blueberry compote and whipped topping for free at participating US locations between 7 am and 7 pm. Select IHOP restaurants will also offer a combo of two eggs, hash browns and choice of two bacon strips or pork sausage links as part of the Red, White & Blue Pancake promotion for retired and active duty military personnel. Guests should check with their local IHOP restaurant for additional details. Veterans and Active Duty Military simply show proof of military service to receive their free Red, White & Blue Pancakes.

Little Caesar’s
Little Caesars® Pizza is offering all United States Armed Forces veterans and active military a free $5 HOT-N-READY® Lunch Combo from 11 am to 2 pm, at participating stores nationwide this Veterans Day.

Bonefish Grill
Bonefish Grill offers a free appetizer with purchase of an entree with valid military ID for active duty service people and veterans on Veterans Day 2019 at all locations.

Carraba’s Italian Grill
In honor of Veterans Day 2019, Carrabba’s Italian Grill offers free calamari with a purchase with valid ID for active duty military and veterans. The Italian eatery also offers a special ongoing 10% Heroes Discount for all servicemen and women, police officers, firefighters and first responders starting Nov. 12, 2019.

Home Depot offers a 10% discount to all veterans on November 11. Home Depot offers the 10% discount year round to for active duty and retirees.

Kohl’s
Active and former military personnel, veterans and their families get a 30% off in-store discount November 7 through 11.

Rack Room Shoes
Military personnel and their dependents get a 10% discount off entire purchase November 11.

Readers.com offers a 30% off military discount sitewide November 10 through 12.

 Active military members and veterans get $175 off their clear aligner purchase November 10 - 14.

Target
Active-duty military, veterans, Reservists and their dependents can receive a 10% discount on a purchase made in-store and online from November 3 - 11.

T-Mobile
Active-duty military and veterans can get 50% off the latest Samsung smartphones, including the new Samsung Galaxy Note10 and Note10+. This is in addition to their Magenta Military plan, which includes 50% off family lines, available to military, veterans and their families year-round.

Verizon
Active-duty military members, Reservists, cadets, Gold Star families and veterans can receive a 1-year membership of Amazon Prime when they add a new line of service. These customers are also eligible for Wireless and Fios discounts. The offer will run from October 24 to December 2. This is in addition to their year-round discounts on plans and accessories.

Walgreens
Veterans, military personnel and their families get a 20% discount on eligible regular priced items November 8 - 11 in store with a Walgreens Balance Rewards card and proof of service.
