Haven’t we finally created a wonderful utopia?

We have a socialist government with free everything for just about everybody.

Unemployment has been ended. Everybody has a job.

Not everybody may like their job or the miserable pay they receive but we are all equal in what we are paid except for the elite Socialist Party bureaucrats.
They live in grand houses, have 2nd homes at the beach or in the mountains but they have the crushing responsibility for running the country and making sure all of us have jobs, free health insurance and access to all the vodka we want.

We may stand in line at the grocers for bread, eggs, milk and a weekly meat ration but that’s a small price to pay for living in our new utopia.
If you develop a lump in your breast, have problems breathing or even have a heart attack, we have free health insurance. 
We may wait 12 months for cancer treatment, respiratory therapy or a quadruple heart bypass but that’s a small price to pay for living in our new utopia.

We have no more problems with the police. Traditional law enforcement has been done away with. Now we have armed Home Guards who make sure no criminals are on the streets after dark. And we have the Purity Police who make sure no one offends us with non-politically correct speech. 
And we have the Secret Police and their informants who make sure we have no insurrectionists in our midst who might cause trouble for us or try to bring  down our socialist government.
Several of our neighbors have been escorted to re-education resorts to learn to speak politically correctly. And we worry that other neighbors may be Secret Police informers who could report us, too, for thinking or speaking incorrectly.

We never have to wonder who to vote for. Everyone running is a Socialist Party member.
That’s a small price to pay for living in our new utopia.
