The Lexington County Blowfish dropped its third straight game Monday in a 9-2 loss at Florence.

The Red Wolves jumped out to an early lead after scoring six unanswered runs off starter Cam Tringali. The University of South Carolina pitcher allowed eight hits in two innings.

Florence added a run on an error in the sixth inning and a 2-run double by Al Archanbo in the eighth.

Lexington's lone runs came in the seventh on a 2-run homer by Cole Tate to score Carson "Mac" McCurdy of White Knoll High School. As a team, Lexington County was 1-12 with runners on base and 1-7 with runners in scoring position.
