Chapin, Batesburg-Leesville reach semifinals of Claw Classic Tournament
Chapin defeated Pelion 39-28 to advance to the semifinals of its Claw Classic Tournament on Thursday.
The Eagles will play host to Fort Mill in the 7:30 pm Friday nightcap. The Yellow Jackets rallied from a 28-20 halftime deficit to defeat Columbia 57-49.
Batesburg-Leesville was also victorious in its 1st round matchup. The Panthers edged Dreher 58-56 and will face North Charleston in the other semifinal. The Cougars defeated Clinton 64-46.
