Gilbert’s quest for a 2nd straight Class 3A final appearance ended Tuesday in Mount Pleasant.

The Lady Indians fell in 4 sets to host team Oceanside Collegiate. The scores were 20-25, 27-25, 17-25, 23-25.

The Lady Landsharks will now look to dethrone Powdersville in the Class 3A final Saturday at Dreher High School. The match will begin at 10 am.

In Class 5A, River Bluff looked to replicate last year’s winning performance in the Lower State semifinal against Wando. This time, however, the Lady Warriors won in 3 sets 25-20, 25-21, 25-18.

Wando will now face TL Hanna in the Class 5A final at 6 pm Saturday at Dreher High School. The Lady Yellow Jackets defeated Dorman in 3 sets 25-20, 25-20, 25-15.
