The Gilbert volleyball team opened the Class 3A playoffs at home Wednesday with a 3-set win over Lake Marion.
The scores were 25-4, 25-9, 25-3. Gilbert had 18 serving aces and 38 kills. 
Up next for the Lady Indians (25-6) at 6 pm Monday is Bishop England, which defeated Loris in 3 sets. 

Andrew Jackson 3, Batesburg-Leesville 0 
The Lady Panthers' season came to an end with the 1st round loss to the Volunteers in the Class 2A playoffs. 
The scorers were 25-10, 25-5, 25-17.

Gray Collegiate Academy 3, Greer Middle College 1
The Lady War Eagles advanced to the 2nd round of the Class 2A playoffs with Wednesday's win.
They will play host Monday to either Ninety-Six or Buford. 

Battery Creek 3, Pelion 0

The Lady Panthers' season came to an end with a 3-set loss to the Lady Dolphins.

The scores were 26-24, 25-11, 25-14.
