Chapin pinch-runner Giovonni Macaluso slides safely to homeplate before the tag attempt by the St. James catcher during the first inning of Game 1 of the Class 4A Lower State final. The Eagles lost Game 1 by a 3-2 score, but rebounded to win Game 2 by a 6-1 score to claim the Lower State title.
