The Silver Foxes are one of 3 Palmetto State teams included in the national poll.
On Tuesday, Dutch Fork solidified its hold of 1st place in Region 5-5A with a 3-2 home victory over 2-time defending region champion River Bluff.

"They've had a lot of assists, both of them, and they've scored goals," he said. "It makes a huge difference because we ended up winning a tight game."
River Bluff connected on a corner kick with less than 2 minutes left. The loss dropped the Gators (9-4, 3-2) into a 2nd place tie with Lexington, who travels to Dutch Fork Thursday for a 7:15 p.m. matchup.
The last meeting March 20 saw the Wildcats tie the match with 15 seconds left regulation on a goal by Ben Mayer. They went on to hand Dutch Fork its lone loss of the season on Sam Pent's overtime goal for the 2-1 victory.
"We still have to work hard," Brdarski said. "They've been really motivated the last couple of games and I think they're going to be very motivated for that game."
