The Chapin girls’ golf team won a Patriot Day tri-match at Golden Hills Country Club Wednesday. The Lady Eagles had a score of 173, followed by River Bluff (181) and A.C. Flora (184). Emily Baker was top medalist with a score of 38, followed by teammate Noelle Magann. River Bluff had three golfers tie for low score for the team. Lauren Oh, Isabella McKenzie, and Sydney Willson all fired rounds of 43. VOLLEYBALL Gilbert 3, Chapin 0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-10) The Lady Indians improved to 13-2 on the season following the non-region win over the Lady Eagles. They had 10 serve aces, 32 kills, 32 assists and 7 digs. Gilbert closes out its non-region schedule Thursday at Swansea. White Knoll 3, Brookland-Cayce 0 (26-24, 25-13, 25-14) The Lady Timberwolves won the non-region match Wednesday.
