Batesburg-Leesville Mayor Lancer Shull is among a group of 8 mayors in the Riley Mayor’s Design Fellowship.
The fellowship is named after Charleston’s former Mayor Joe Riley.
The fellowship gives mayors the tools for projects to improve their communities.
At a workshop February 26-28, 2020 the mayors will discuss the challenges and opportunities of an intended project with an expert resource team. They will receive feedback, insight, technical advice and ideas.
On Paul Kirby's program Good Morning Lexington County, Mayor Shull agreed that Batesburg-Leesville is becoming the western hub of development for Lexington County.
