With the 28-26 road win over previously top-ranked Lamar, Gray Collegiate Academy has returned to the Top 10 of the S.C. Prep Football Media Top 10 poll in Class 2A.

The War Eagles (3-3) reenter the Top 10 in the 9th position and will open Region 3-2A play Friday against Columbia at Bolden Stadium. 

Defending 3-time Class 5A champion Dutch Fork (5-0-1) remains atop the Class 5A poll and will face 8th ranked and fellow unbeaten River Bluff. Both idle Lexington (5-1) and White Knoll (5-1) received votes for the poll.

In Class 3A, idle Gilbert (5-1) placed 6th and returns to action Oct. 18 at home against 9th ranked Strom Thurmond.
