Lexington County Deputies Respond to Shooting at Apartment Complex

Lexington County Sheriff’s Deputies responded Sunday night to a shooting at an apartment complex in Red Bank.

According to posts to the department’s social media, a man was shot at a complex along the 100 block of Brevard Parkway. The only apartment complex on that block is Fern Hall Apartments.

“He’s been transported with what first responders said was not a life-threatening injury to the upper body,” the department posted at 7:34 p.m. Sunday. “Detectives are working to interview neighbors who might have seen or heard something related to the shooting, which happened outside in a common area.”

“Crime scene investigators are collecting potential evidence from the common area.”

The department is encouraging anyone with information about the shooting to call Crimestoppers (1-888-CRIME-SC) or make contact via the Crimestoppers app.
