Lindsey’s Dog Walking to open in Lexington

After relocating from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, experienced pet-care professional Lindsey Perriello is bringing her passion, professional training and years of experience to the Lexington community.

Perriello said she will officially reopen her business, Lindsey’s Dog Walking, on Dec. 1 and is now welcoming new clients throughout the Lexington area and surrounding communities, according to a news release.

Before relocating to South Carolina, Perriello owned and operated a certified pet-sitting and dog-walking business in the Pittsburgh area, serving about 300 clients.

“I’ve always believed that pets deserve the same level of compassion, patience and individualized attention that we give to the people we love,” Perriello said in the release. “I’m excited to become part of the Lexington community and build relationships with local pet owners while providing dependable, professional care they can feel confident about.”

Lindsey’s Dog Walking offers a variety of services, including:

• Professional dog walking

• In-home pet sitting

• Cat care

• Puppy care

• Medication administration

• Insulin injections

• Specialized care for pets with medical or behavioral needs

Perriello is a Fear-Free certified professional, having completed specialized training in reducing fear, anxiety and stress during pet-care visits. She said this approach is particularly valuable when working with fearful, anxious or reactive pets.

She is also a certified professional pet sitter through Pet Sitters International and earns continuing education credits every month to stay current with professional pet-care practices.

Additionally, Perriello is trained in pet CPR and first aid through PetTech, giving her the knowledge and skills to respond to many pet emergencies should they arise.

She is comfortable working with a wide variety of animals, including senior pets, pets with special needs, leash-reactive dogs and those who may be fearful or require extra patience and understanding.

With a strong background in professional pet care and a genuine love for animals, Perriello said she hopes to become a trusted resource for Lexington-area pet owners.

Lindsey’s Dog Walking officially opens on Dec. 1 and is currently accepting new clients.
