SOUTH CAROLINA WOMEN'S BASKETBALL - Gamecocks now await NCAA tournament top seed

Having won the SEC Tournament and finishing undefeated in conference play, the South Carolina women’s basketball team now turn their attention to the NCAA Tournament.
Fans are invited to FAMdemonium Monday at Colonial Life Arena. 
Doors will open at 5 p.m. for the event, which features food, games and an autograph session ahead of the NCAA Selection Show airing at 7 p.m.
Tickets are on sale now via GamecocksOnline.com through 5 p.m. Friday for $15 each with capacity for the event limited to 1,000. 
Fans who have purchased tickets will check-in inside the main entrance of the arena.
Parking will be available for free on a first-come, first-served basis in Lots A and B in front of Colonial Life Arena. Parking is also available at the Discovery Garage for a fee.
The Gamecocks (32-1) are eyeing their 9th NCAA Tournament bid in as many seasons and 2nd national title in school history. 
This past Sunday, they defeated Mississippi State 76-62 for their 5th SEC title in 6 years. It was also South Carolina’s school-record 26st consecutive victory. 
Freshman guard Brea Beal had 12 points and 11 rebounds for her 1st collegiate career double-double. Senior guard Tyasha Harris finished with 10 points along with Zia Cooke and 10 assists and senior forward Mikiah Herbert Harrigan had 15 points to lead four Gamecocks in double figures.
South Carolina is expected to play its first 2 rounds of NCAA tournament play at home.
