Rumours: The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute (concert)

The Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College (7300 College St.) hosts a performance by Rumours: The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute. Finding Nemo Jr. (musical)

Grab the kids and head over to the Village Square Theatre (105 Caughman Rd.) for a performance of “Finding Nemo Jr.” Directed by Candice Pipkin, this musical adaptation of the 2003 Pixar movie, “Finding Nemo,” chronicles Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish who lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. March For Meals 5K

If you want to challenge yourself physically and give to a worthy cause, you’ll want to head over to Timmerman Trail (1120 Fort Congaree Trl. in Cayce) for the March For Meals 5K. Presented by Strictly Running, this event began with Senior Resources and is now a nationally recognized fundraising event for Meals on Wheels America. In addition to raising additional funds to serve the Richland County seniors in need, this event raises awareness on senior poverty and food instability. Check-in is at 7:30 a.m., the 5K begins at 9 a.m., and there is a Senior Walk starting at 9:30 a.m. Registration is $35 and $20 for the Senior Walk. Shamrock Festival Kid’s Zone

Bring the family to the Icehouse Amphitheater (107 W. Main St.) for some kid-friendly pre-St. Patrick’s Day fun. The Shamrock Festival Kids Zone features face painting, balloon animals, bouncy house, a giant slide and an obstacle course. Shamrock Parade

Downtown Lexington hosts the 9th annual Shamrock Parade, presented by Blowfish Baseball. Families can enjoy Irish dancers, live music, floats, pageant winners and even a Mountain Dew drinking Camel as Abraham makes an appearance as the Redeemed Band performs on Main Street. Ashes & Arrows (concert)

The passionate Americana acoustic trio, Ashes & Arrows, performs at the Newberry Opera House (1201 McKibben St.) on Friday, March 8. The trio met at an open mic in downtown Asheville in 2021 and immediately found the inspiration to write and perform music as a band. Drawing inspiration from the likes of NEEDTODBREATHE, Jason Isbell and Patrick Droney, Ashes & Arrows also weaves strong three-part harmonies into their songs. Showtime is 8 p.m. and tickets are $25.
