Friday — Nov. 3

Fall Back Fest
100 State St. is the place to be for the 7th Annual West Columbia Fall Back Fest. Enjoy an evening of live music from Going Commando, Chris Reed & The Bad Kids, and Hampton Hooks, food and drink vendors, arts and crafts, live mural art and much more. The festival runs from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. and is free to attend. Visit westcolumbiasc.gov for more information.

Coffee Lager Festival
Steel Hands Brewing (2350 Foreman St. in Cayce) has been offering its popular Coffee Lager for nearly five years now, and it’s once again releasing a series of desert-flavored variants for the holiday season — this year marking the occasion with a three-day festival. Friday festivities go from 3 to 7 p.m. and will include Irmo roaster Loveland Coffee (which provides the coffee infused into Steel Hands’ lager) on site serving nitro coffee and iced pumpkin spice oat milk lattes on draft. Saturday will feature coffee food and drink specials, while Sunday will center on a Coffee Lager brunch and market. For more info, go to facebook.com/steelhandsbrewing.

“The Addams Family” (musical)
The Village Square Theatre (105 Caughman Rd.) presents the perfect play for the Halloween season: “The Addams Family.” Join director Debra Leopard and choreographer Christy Shealy Mills as they tell this tale of Wednesday Addams in love: “Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s ‘normal’ boyfriend and his parents.” Showtime is 7:30 p.m., and tickets cost between $18 and $22. Tia Durant (concert)
The Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College (7300 College St. in Irmo) hosts an evening of classic music from vocalist Tia Durant. Join Durant as she takes you on a tour through the catalogs of the great divas of our time with her “Tribute To The Women of Soul.” Expect to hear hits and favorites by Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan and many more. Murders & Mysteries Walking Tour
The Icehouse Amphitheater (107 W. Main St.) is the jumping off point for the Lexington County Museum’s Murders and Mysteries Lexington Walking Tour. Learn about the history of the town and hear about some of the murders, trials, and other crimes that occurred on Lexington’s Main Street in the 19th and early 20th centuries. This free tour lasts about an hour. Attendees will follow a guide between Church Street and South Lake Drive. Because of the mature subject matter, attendees must be 18 or over or have parental permission. The tour begins at 8 p.m. Visit lex-co.sc.gov for more information.

Lower Saluda Craft Beer & Wine Fest
Saluda Shoals Park (5605 Bush River Rd. in Columbia) hosts the Lower Saluda Craft Beer & Wine Fest. In addition to a wide variety of craft beer and wine, the festival features food trucks, a commemorative tasting glass and live music from Flat Out Strangers. The festival kicks off at 6 p.m., and admission is $40 in advance and $45 on the day of the event. This event is for ages 21 and up only. Visit icrc.net for more information.

Pelion Peanut Party
The annual Peanut Party once again takes over Pelion, starting at 5:30 p.m. Friday with the Blessing of the Pots and running through 10 p.m. that night with plenty of boiled peanuts, amusement rides and karaoke. The festival continues Saturday starting at 8 a.m. with a car show, an 11 a.m. parade, crafters and vendors, amusement rides and live entertainment from artists including local country singer Cody Webb (with both continuing through 10 p.m.) and 7:30 p.m. fireworks. Saturday — Nov. 4

Comedy Night
Hollow Creek Distillery (112 Rocky Ridge Rd. in Leesville) presents a Comedy Night event. Grab a cocktail featuring locally crafted spiritys and enjoy stand-up comedy from Greenville native Jas Gill. Boundaries
The Conneticut metalcore quintet Boundaries perform at New Brookland Tavern (122 State St. in West Columbia). The band is joined for this show by Your Spirit Dies, Backslide, and Candescent. Showtime is 6 p.m., and tickets are $15. Visit newbrooklandtavern.com for more information.

Annual Christmas Arts & Crafts Market
The SC State Farmer’s Market (3483 Charleston Hwy.) hosts the annual Christmas Arts & Crafts Market. Join over 150 of the best crafters and vendors of the Midlands and do some holiday shopping. Bluegrass Battle (concert)
Hazelwood Brewing Company (711 E. Main St.) hosts an epic event for fans of bluegrass music. The Bluegrass Battle show features 4 acts, The Blue Iguanas, The Wolfman String Band, Millhands and Carolina Bluegrass Style go head-to-head onstage to establish bluegrass supremacy. Pop-Up Cat Cafe
West Columbia cafe The Hideout in Weco (118 State St.) becomes a cat cafe for a day. A $5 donation (which goes directly to caring for the kittens attendees will have the chance to pet and hang out with) is required for entry. Lexington County Veteran’s Parade
The Lexington County Veteran’s Prade rolls for a 21st year down South Lake Drive and Main Street in downtown Lexington. The parade begins at 3 p.m. and is sponsored by the Town of Lexington, American Legion Post 7, VFW Post 8738, Kirby Floats, and Lexington County Veterans Affairs. Wednesday — Nov. 8

Burial Beer Launch
WECO Bottle & Biergarten (626 Meeting St. in West Columbia) welcomes back a popular Carolinas beer brand that briefly began distributing here a few years ago. Try some specialty kegs from Burial Beer (which boasts locations in Asheville, Charlotte and Raleigh) along with some of the brewery’s perennial favorites starting at 5:30 p.m. This event is free to attend. Prettier Than Matt (concert)

Holiday Open House
On Nov. 3, downtown Newberry transforms into a holiday wonderland thanks to the Newberry Downtown Development Association’s Holiday Open House. From 4 to 8 p.m., the various shops of downtown Newberry roll out the red carpet and offer up shopping, dining, refreshments, sales, door prizes and more. This event is free to attend. Richland Creek Antique Fall Festival
Richland Creek Farms (542 Richland Creek Rd. in Ward) hosts the Richland Creek Antique Fall Festival on Nov. 4. Enjoy a day of antique hunting along with extras like an antique tractor pull, a threshing machine, food vendors, a pedal tractor sled for the kids, a hay baler and much more.
