Fall Back Fest
100 State St. is the place to be for the 7th Annual West Columbia Fall Back Fest. Coffee Lager Festival
Steel Hands Brewing (2350 Foreman St. in Cayce) has been offering its popular Coffee Lager for nearly five years now, and it’s once again releasing a series of desert-flavored variants for the holiday season — this year marking the occasion with a three-day festival. Friday festivities go from 3 to 7 p.m. and will include Irmo roaster Loveland Coffee (which provides the coffee infused into Steel Hands’ lager) on site serving nitro coffee and iced pumpkin spice oat milk lattes on draft. “The Addams Family” (musical)
The Village Square Theatre (105 Caughman Rd.) presents the perfect play for the Halloween season: “The Addams Family.” Join director Debra Leopard and choreographer Christy Shealy Mills as they tell this tale of Wednesday Addams in love: “Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s ‘normal’ boyfriend and his parents.” Showtime is 7:30 p.m., and tickets cost between $18 and $22. Tia Durant (concert)
The Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College (7300 College St. in Irmo) hosts an evening of classic music from vocalist Tia Durant. Join Durant as she takes you on a tour through the catalogs of the great divas of our time with her “Tribute To The Women of Soul.” Expect to hear hits and favorites by Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan and many more. Murders & Mysteries Walking Tour
The Icehouse Amphitheater (107 W. Main St.) is the jumping off point for the Lexington County Museum’s Murders and Mysteries Lexington Walking Tour. Learn about the history of the town and hear about some of the murders, trials, and other crimes that occurred on Lexington’s Main Street in the 19th and early 20th centuries. This free tour lasts about an hour. Attendees will follow a guide between Church Street and South Lake Drive. Lower Saluda Craft Beer & Wine Fest
Saluda Shoals Park (5605 Bush River Rd. in Columbia) hosts the Lower Saluda Craft Beer & Wine Fest. In addition to a wide variety of craft beer and wine, the festival features food trucks, a commemorative tasting glass and live music from Flat Out Strangers. Pelion Peanut Party
The annual Peanut Party once again takes over Pelion, starting at 5:30 p.m. Friday with the Blessing of the Pots and running through 10 p.m. that night with plenty of boiled peanuts, amusement rides and karaoke. The festival continues Saturday starting at 8 a.m. with a car show, an 11 a.m. parade, crafters and vendors, amusement rides and live entertainment from artists including local country singer Cody Webb (with both continuing through 10 p.m.) and 7:30 p.m. fireworks. Comedy Night
