White Knoll football star and Chapin volleyball standout earn Athlete of the Week honors

White Knoll linebacker Jaiden Kimble and Chapin libero Kendall Webster earned male and female athlete of the week honors.


This week’s nominees on the male side were Kimble, Irmo quarterback A.J. Brand and Lexington linebacker Montrell Byrd. On the female side, Webster was nominated along with Lexington volleyball’s Jazlyn Snow and River Bluff volleyball’s Masyn McClanahan.

Jaiden Kimble

Kimble was all over the field in White Knoll’s 40-0 win over River Bluff. On defense, he recorded nine total tackles with two tackles for loss. On the other side of the ball, Kimble rushed the ball four times for 61 yards and scored two touchdowns.


Kimble also played a big role on the special teams unit as he punted once for 49 yards.

Kendall Webster

Webster was voted female athlete of the week after another impressive week of performances.


So far, the freshman libero has led the Chapin Eagles in aces per set, digs, digs per set and receptions. Webster has played a vital role in Chapin’s winning 14-6-1 record.
