White Knoll sweeps Athlete of the Week awards
White Knoll High School had two students win Athlete of the Week honors this week in Landon Sharpe and Taylor O’Neil.
The nominees for Male Athlete of the Week were Sharpe, Brandon Cromer of Lexington High and Jacob Hamilton from Dutch Fork.
The nominees for Female Athlete of the Week were O’Neil, Jazlyn Snow from Lexington High and Kylie Wilson from River Bluff.
Landon Sharpe
Sharpe took home the honor after he completed 14 of 19 passes for 263 yards and three touchdowns in the Timberwolves’ big 54-7 win over Westwood.
Taylor O’Neil
O’Neil played well in a close loss to a good Blythewood team and recorded six kills, two serving aces and two digs in a big win over Irmo.
