Gray Collegiate Academy had little trouble with Calhoun County Friday night in a matchup for 1st place in Region 3-2A.
The 9th ranked War Eagles rallied from an early 1-point deficit to roll past the Saints 58-20.
Gray Collegiate quarterback Hunter Helms was 18-27 for 357 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Running back K.Z. Adams rushed for 159 yards and 3 touchdowns and Omarion Dolleson rushed for 2 scores.
Gray trailed 14-13 in the 2nd quarter, but proceeded to score 44 unanswered points at the Midlands Sports Complext in Pine Ridge.
The win keeps Gray Collegiate (5-3, 2-0) undefeated in Region 3-2A. It can claim a second straight region title with a win at Eau Claire.
