Gov. Henry McMaster's latest order aims to reduce covid-19's spread among young adults.
He said alcoholic beverage sales in all bars and restaurants will end af 11 pm.
The governor’s order begins tomorrow, Saturday, July 11 at 11 pm.
The order does not apply to alcohol sold at convenience or grocery stores, wine and liquor stores, or retail businesses.
The order applies to holders of an On-Premises Beer and Wine Permit, Winery Permit, Brewpub Beer/Wine Permit, Brewery Permit, Business Liquor by the Drink License, Non-Profit Private Club Liquor by the Drink License, Special Event Permit, or Special Non-Profit Event Permit.
The Department of Revenue permits about 8,000 restaurants and bars in SC for sale and consumption of alcohol.
