Covid-19 delays Spring Open House

Posted

The Lexington County Museum will postpone its annual Spring Open House..

"Stay tuned to our website and/or Facebook page for updates," Museum Director JR Fennell said..

The museum remains closed to the public due to covid-19.

"We are participating in Midlands Gives, the online giving challenge, of Central Carolina Community Foundation." he said.

You can help the museum by donating to the Friends of the Lexington County Museum through Midlands Gives May 5.

Gifts made on that day have the potential to go further as a result of prizes.

Donations will go towards buying beeswax for candle-making, clay for the Native American program, reproduction clothing for our historical interpreters, and many other needed materials for use in the educational programs.

"These are items that we can’t afford without your support, so please visit www.MidlandsGives.org for more information including what other organizations are participating and how to donate,: he said..
The Friends of the Museum's Midlands Gives webpage is https://www.midlandsgives.org/lexingtoncountymuseum.
