Update: Missing Gaston teen found safe

A missing Gaston teen has been found safe in Fairfield County. Her family were on the way to pick her up, the Lexington County Sheriff's Office announced.

On Friday, Lexington County detectives opened a missing person case on a 15-year-old girl from Gaston.
Lilith Donelle Currier left her grandfather’s house in the 400 block of Irvin Jumper Street June 26, according to her family members.
“Based on what investigators have pieced together at this point, Lilith was picked up by a man named Korraye Ford,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “We’re not sure where they went from there or how long they were together.”
Deputies arrested Ford, 39, for contributing to the delinquency of a minor Wednesday, according to an arrest warrant. Detectives said Ford arranged to meet Currier after he convinced her to leave her guardian. Ford is being held in the Lexington County Detention Center.
“We’re asking anyone with information about where Lilith might be to call Crimestoppers,” Koon said. “She wasn’t with Ford when we arrested him and he says he doesn’t know where she is. He’s refused to share any information about Lilith with us.”
Currier’s family hasn’t heard from her since June 26, according to Koon. Family members are working with investigators to find her.
