Woman dies on I-26 in Lexington County

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who died as a result of a motor vehicle collision on Interstate 26 eastbound near exit 113 shortly after 2 am on Feb. 16. 
According to Fisher, Jamee Green, 24, of Columbia was pronounced dead at the scene due to her injuries.  Green, who was not wearing a seat belt, struck the rear of a tractor trailer, and her disabled vehicle was struck by another semi. The drivers and a passenger of one of the semis were not injured.   
 The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
